Rani Laxmi Bai was an enigmatic and an iconic figure. Her story is such that it infuses the love of motherland and the patriotic fervour in every true-blue Indian. She led the first war of Indian Independence in 1857 against the British rule and gave a tremendous jolt to the foreign power. Kangana Ranaut’s film Manikarnika: The Queen of Jhansi brings to life the story of the Queen who has left a massive impression on the Indian psyche with her courage, bravery and valour. Today, the war anthem Vijayi Bhava was launched from the film.
The song Vijayi Bhava has been sung by Shankar Mahadevan and penned by Prasoon Joshi. It is composed by Shankar, Ehsaan and Loy. The song shows the war preparation that Kangana as Manikarnika or Rani Laxmi Bai is doing to go to battle against the invaders. Ankita Lokhande and Danny Denzongpa are also seen in the song.
