For the uninitiated, a delegation of young Hindi film actors and filmmakers were invited to meet the PM on Thursday in New Delhi to discuss how the entertainment industry can contribute to nation building.

The 'Prime Minister's Squad' included Ranveer Singh, Ranbir Kapoor, Varun Dhawan, Alia Bhatt, Ekta Kapoor, Sidharth Malhotra, Ayushmann Khurrana, Rajkummar Rao, Vicky Kaushal and directors Rohit Shetty, Karan Johar, and Ashwiny Iyer Tiwari.
Post the meeting was concluded, the celebs posted pictures with the PM and thanked him for his time and support to the film fraternity. Karan thanked the government for the GST reduction in movie ticket prices and the "incredible exchange of thoughts and ideas with the forces of the film fraternity."
