Ranveer Singh is on cloud nine after the success of his film Simmba that is still minting money at the box office. However, he has found a new reason to be happy because his upcoming film Gully Boy directed by Zoya Akhtar has created a storm on the internet with its trailer and songs. Apart from having a rocking professional front, he has also been living the good life after getting married to longtime girlfriend Deepika Padukone. Recently, Deepika appeared on Famously Filmfare where she jokingly referred to her husband as “Ranveer Singh Padukone” and asked the host to call him that when he appears on the show next.
Ranveer has now made his appearance on the show and the host quizzed him about the same. To that Ranveer, who has claimed previously that he is aiming to become the husband of the millennium very sportingly said, “It is a great legendary surname…why not, I say!" Now, isn’t that great. Only hearing Ranveer proclaim that he is comfortable taking up his wife’s surname is reason enough for us to root for this millennial husband.

During the show when he was asked whether there was ever a moment where he thought he lost Deepika, he said, “No, I never had such a thought, Of course, there are ups and downs but I had made up my mind that she was the one, she is the only one whom I wanted to marry, so I was prepared to go through anything." Ranveer and Deepika dated for six years before they tied the knot in a fairytale wedding at Lake Como in Italy.
