Speculations were rife for quite some time that Abhishek Bachchan, who made a successful comeback with Anurag Kashyap's recent film Manmariziyan, will be collaborating with Ragini MMS and Phobia producer Pawan Kripalani for his next horror comedy, titled Tantrik. However, we now hear that Junior Bachchan is no longer a part of the project and Saif Ali Khan has been roped to play the lead in the forthcoming film.
As per a report in a leading daily, the director is still finalising locations and a leading lady opposite Saif in the film, which is expected to go on floors in the coming months. Not to forget, Pawan has tried his hand at horror with Darr, starring Jimmy Sheirgill and Nushrat Bharucha. Hence, it would be interesting to see him and Saif work on the project together.

For now, let's wait for an official announcement about the said project, which is backed by Fox Star Studios.
Meanwhile, on the work front, Saif has an eclectic lineup of films ahead. He is presently shooting for the Netflix original Sacred Games 2 apart from Navdeep Singh’s untitled film, which features him as a Naga sadhu. Not to forget, he will play a negative role in Ajay Devgn starrer Taanaji: The Unsung Warrior. Interestingly, Saif will also be seen in his own production Jawani Janeman, which will launch Pooja Bedi’s daughter Aalia Furniturewalla in Bollywood.
