Shahid Kapoor recently appeared on Karan Johar’s controversial talk show Koffee With Karan along with his younger brother Ishaan Khatter. During the show, Shahid surprised everyone by saying that the screen time in Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s Padmaavat was something that he was not very happy with and Ranveer and Deepika never actually became his friends. However, now Shahid says that he will love to work with Ranveer again.

During the show, Karan had asked him about alleged issues between Ranveer Singh and him on the sets of the magnum opus. Shahid had said, "It's really a big film and the stakes were very high for everybody. So everybody wanted to have their A-game on. Everybody was doing everything it takes to kind of be in the centre of the limelight. I'm sure everybody felt a bit threatened by each other at some level, it's natural."

Even during the rapid-fire, he had named Saif Ali Khan as his preferred co-star instead of Ranveer. However, now looks like Shahid has kinda gone back on his word. During another chat show, he was asked whether he would like to work with Ranveer again. To this Shahid said, “I would definitely want to do a film with Ranveer Singh again!"

Now, isn’t that interesting. It’s for nothing that we say there are no permanent friendships or enemies in Bollywood. On the other hand, Ranveer has refuted any rumours of animosity between the two lead actors.
