Karan Johar is perhaps the most fashionable filmmaker we have in Bollywood and perhaps the bigger social media star as compared to his contemporaries. While his films are loved by many, he has been ostracised as the flag bearer of nepotism ever since Kangana Ranaut termed him that on his own talk show. Interestingly, social media and nepotism are exactly the two things that he talks about as he graces the digital cover of MensXP.
We have got our hands on a video shared by Karan online where he gets candid how social media is only for people who are themselves. Stating social media is the one point contact between you and your followers, KJo asserts, "They want to get a feeling. A feel of touch, emotion, sensibility from you and not from your digital team. It's given like a platform for people who have hobbies, talents and us."
When prodded about nepotism, Karan quipped that the age of the stars is thing of the past. "See, it's the age of the actor and its' important to know that it is not the age of the star. So if you are an actor, the one prerequisite is that you got to be able to act," he adds.
