Aanand L Rai's ambitious project Zero, starring Shah Rukh Khan as a vertically-challenged man, failed to impress fans and critics but the director said that he isn't disappointed with the failure of the film. While speaking to a news agency, Aanand said that Zero was a film that he intended to add to his resume since a really long period of time.
Instead of lamenting over its failure, Aanand said, he wants to understand what went wrong with Zero.

“I won’t say I am disappointed. I will need to understand (what went wrong). This is the story I wanted to say and I made it. After making Ranjhaanaa and Tanu Weds Manu and the second one, this film (Zero) was due for me to make. To take a certain flight and I have not landed on it properly, " Aanand told a news agency.
