Shahid Kapoor in a recent interview revealed details about his first meeting with wife Mira Rajput and said that when he had first met her he thought she was too young but still liked her for her attitude. Showering praise on his wife he said that she has handled his stardom and everything associated with it and the age gap with a lot of ‘thehrav’. In the same interview, he also called himself a cradle snatcher for marrying her who is about fourteen years younger to him.
Shahid opened about his life as a husband, brother, and father in the interview given to a leading entertainment portal for their show. The interviewer called Shahid a ‘cradle snatcher’ as he was dubbed by many for marrying Mira when she was just 21. He agreed to the moniker and said, “Absolutely! You know, I am. I can’t run away from it. So it is what it is.”

However, when the interviewer asked him whom would he have married if not Mira, to this Shahid said, “Someone older,” which meant that someone older than Mira not older to him. Talking about Mira Shahid said, “My understanding of her is that she is very mature, deep down. Otherwise, she would not have been able to deal with all that has happened with her life. I mean she was just turning 21 when we got married.” Shahid and Mira are parents to a daughter and a son.
