Biopics are what movie-buffs are seemingly enjoying and it appears that a film based on tennis player Sania Mirza is on the cards as well. Ronnie Screwvala's production house RSVP has acquired the rights to make a biopic on Sania, if a report in a leading daily is anything to go by. Sources told the daily that clauses in the agreement were discussed thoroughly and Sania took time to assess and sign them.
The deal, sources said, has been sealed and the makers issued a public notice on Sunday. "There were a few clauses in the agreement which were discussed in detail. There are clauses like the right to portray real events, use real characters from the life of Sania and also the right to fictionalise the life and events, and the right to add or delete characters from the life of the personality in the film. These were clauses that took a while for Sania to sign but eventually, the deal was sealed and the makers have now issued a public notice regarding the same on Sunday," the daily quoted a source as saying.

The makers, however, haven’t finalised the actress, who will play Sania Mirza. Asked about the actress she deemed fit to play her in her biopic, Sania had previously mentioned Parineeti Chopra’s name, a leading website reports.
