Salman Khan’s Bharat is undoubtedly one of the most anticipated films of the year. Directed by Ali Abbas Zafar, the film is a period drama that features a stellar ensemble cast including Katrina Kaif, Tabu, Jackie Shroff, Disha Patani, Aasif Sheikh, Meiyang Chang and Sunil Grover. Now after a long wait, the first teaser of the film has been unveiled and it has made our wait for Eid all the more difficult.

The first scene of the teaser begins with a train jam packed with people and it gives a glimpse of the time during India-Pakistan partition when people struggled to cross boundaries. We also see a child stranded during Partition before Salman is introduced as Bharat, named by his father after the country. He goes on to explain that his name is too grand to require the use of a surname to show his caste, religion or nationality.

In the teaser, we also see Salman as Bharat being part of the different professions like a navy officer, a man working in a coal mine and a circus. Not to miss, his striking entry in white costume on a bike as he rides straight through the blazing ring of fire.

While the teaser will leave you asking for more, we do not get a glimpse of the leading ladies and we hope to see Katrina, Nora, Tabu and Disha in the trailer. Produced by Salman Khan Films and Reel Life Production Pvt. Ltd. Film, Bharat is slated to release on Eid this year.
