For Vicky Kaushal’s Uri: The Surgical Strike, an ‘Utterly Butterly Honour’ from Amul

Vicky Kaushal’s new film Uri: The Surgical Strike has been garnering a whole lot of love from audiences and has now, earned a tribute from Amul with its graphic poster. The Amul girl, in the poster, is seen dressed as an army officer while the tagline that accompanies it, reads, ‘Makhan Ka Josh’ – in alignment with Vicky’s popular dialogue in the film – How’s the Josh?

So, all set to Raid the Fridge, folks?

Directed by Aditya Dhar, the film is based on the 2016 Indian Army's surgical strikes inside Pakistan as retaliation for the Uri terrorist attack. Uri stars Yami Gautam, Kirti Kulhari, Mohit Raina and Paresh Rawal in pivotal roles apart from Vicky.

Uri has not only been appraised by critics but also fared exceptionally well at the box office and its current earnings stand at Rs 157.38 crore. Vicky, meanwhile, spoke to a news agency earlier this month about the success of his film and said, "Till the film is released, you don't have an idea if it is going to work. But the kind of reaction we have received is really overwhelming. It's a surreal feeling that the audience has accepted our film with open arms.”

Uri: The Surgical Strike released on January 11.
