Sonam Kapoor’s wedding to businessman Anand Ahuja last year was a big, fat, traditional Indian wedding. It had the entire nation hooked onto the pictures and the amazing videos of Bollywood celebs having a gala time right from the pre-wedding festivities to the reception. Now, Sonam revealed that she planned her wedding during the shooting of her upcoming film Ek Ladki Ko Dekha Toh Aisa Laga along with her father Anil Kapoor.
The father-daughter is sharing screen space for the first time in a film and their chemistry onscreen is crackling. During a media interaction for her upcoming film, Sonam said, “When we were shooting the film, my wedding was being planned. So not much time was wasted as we used to plan my wedding on sets, in between takes. In a way it was a godsend that we did this film together right before the wedding, otherwise, I don't know how we would've found the time to meet each other.”

Sonam’s wedding was extremely well-planned and thought out. Unlike other celeb weddings, it was in Mumbai amidst family, friends. The Kapoor clan was in full force and so was the new generation of Bollywood. Right from mehendi, sangeet to the final Anand Karaj ceremony everything was well-thought out and planned perfectly. The wedding even had a theme for all the days of the functions. Sonam and Anand got hitched on May 8 last year.
