Priyanka Chopra is always value-for-money when she appears on any chat show. Recently, she appeared on The Ellen DeGeneres Show and revealed quite a lot about how her husband Nick Jonas slid into her DMs and they hit it off and eventually got married. She also revealed about her next Hollywood project where she would be playing the role of Ma Anand Sheela. In the same episode, she also spoke about her magical fairytale wedding that took place last year at Umaid Bhawan Palace in Jodhpur, Rajasthan but also confessed that her mother was most upset with her because of the guest list.
Ellen was pretty curious about Priyanka’s and Nick’s big fat wedding but when she learned about the guest list, she quipped, “Super intimate with 200 people!” Priyanka was ready with an explanation and said, “Usually Indian weddings are like thousand people at least. We had only 200 because both of us have giant families... We just wanted to keep it super intimate, about just family." However, Priyanka’s mother Madhu Chopra was most upset with the 200-only-guest list.

Talking about her mother’s reaction, Priyanka said, “For an Indian family and an Indian wedding, that's less. My mother was so upset with me the whole time that she was like 'I need to have another party for the 150 thousand people I know. How can I not invite my jeweler, how can I not invite my hairdresser? So this was the whole conversation.”
