Bezubaan to be reprised for Remo’s dance film starring Varun Dhawan and Shraddha Kapoor?

Bezubaan, the hit track from Remo D’souza’s 2013 project ABCD: Any Body Can Dance, will be reprised in his new dance film, starring Varun Dhawan and Shraddha Kapoor in pivotal roles, a leading daily reports. The song in question was also reworked and used in ABCD 2, titled Bezubaan Phir Se, while Remo’s current project, expected to be the third instalment of the ABCD series, will also incorporate the song.

“They have retained Bezubaan and given it a new touch. The dance styles along with the backdrop will be completely different. It made sense to incorporate this track as the same trio — Varun, Shraddha and Remo — with their ABCD gang is coming together for this project,” a source was quoted as saying by the daily. ABCD 2 also featured Varun and Shraddha and was directed by Remo.

The report also states that T-Series’ Bhushan Kumar, who is producing the film, will also remake two songs for Remo’s film - a hit track from the 90s and another Guru Randhawa track.

Varun began filming in Amritsar on January 23 while Shraddha and Nora Fatehi, who also star in the film, will join him in the London schedule of the film on February 10. Reports also suggest that Varun plays a Punjabi lad in the film while Shraddha has been cast as a Pakistani dancer – both characters are based in the UK as per the plot. For her role in the film, Shraddha, in fact, is learning five dance forms—Afro, Krump, Locking and Popping, Tutting and Animation and Urban, with Indian dancer Prashant Shinde, and UK-based dancer Tania Toreo.
