Shah Rukh Khan said that he likes to do challenging roles and spoke about it at an event recently, adding that the "most difficult thing" for him to do on screen, is to play his "own self". While speaking of his career in the film industry, SRK also said that his fans often ask him whether he had ever imagined attaining stardom as such, and his response is as humble as him.
"Characters are quite different from roles. I feel nice when people make me do what I can't. The most difficult thing is to play your own self on silver screen. When we do creative things, people ask, 'Did you ever think you would reach this level of stardom?' and I say, 'Never'," SRK said at the event, a leading website reports.

Whatever I did, I thought it was my best. You should not think, you should only feel as it is a creative work," SRK added.
