Rajkummar Rao is a bona fide actor for sure but you probably weren’t aware of the fact that he aspired to become a dancer before making a career in films. The 34-year-old actor, recently, made an appearance on the sets of dance-based reality show Super Dancer Chapter 3 to promote his new film Ek Ladki Ko Dekha Toh Aisa Laga, and revealed that he had auditioned for a popular dance-based reality show Boogie Woogie when he was 16, but got rejected, a leading daily reports.
While on the show, Rajkummar said that dance was his passion and to pursue his dream, he travelled from Gurgaon to Mumbai to participate in Boogie Woogie. “I was in tenth standard when I came to Mumbai from Gurgaon for the first time, I always wanted to be a dancer and came here for the auditions of Boogie Woogie where I got rejected. I was sixteen years old when I came here,” Rajkummar said on the show, as per the daily.
Like any teenager, the rejection hit Rajkummar hard and left him disheartened. But while reminiscing memories, Rajkummar added that he is glad that he has achieved stardom through hard work in his career in the film industry.

“I was very disheartened by that rejection then but today I am so glad that I got rejected. It got me to a better career that I am in today,” Rajkummar added.
After Ek Ladki Ko Dekha Toh Aisa Laga, Rajkummar Rao will appear in Made in China and Mental Hai Kya.
