Varun Dhawan’s period drama Kalank is one of the most-awaited films of the year. The film boasts of an ensemble cast of Varun, Alia Bhatt, Sanjay Dutt, Madhuri Dixit, Sonakshi Sinha, Kunal Kemmu, and Aditya Roy Kapur. The cast recently wrapped the film’s shoot and took to their social media profiles to share the good news with their countless fans. The cast shared some amazingly adorable BTS pictures from the sets of the film which are keeping the audience excited for the film. Now, what looks like the first looks of Alia and Varun from the film is out.
Today, Varun took to his social media profile to share a new photo with Alia. The photo shows Alia and Varun holding hands and looking at each other while they have their backs towards the camera. In front of them is a huge painted façade of veteran actor Rajinikanth from his film Johnny Ustad that released in 1984 and had Sridevi in the lead as well. Varun shared the picture and wrote “seeking inspiration” from the legendary actor. However, on Instagram, he shared the same picture and wrote, “Varun captioned the poster and wrote, “कमिंग सूँन #कलंक @aliaabhatt ps- these aren’t the clothes we are wearing in the (film).”

The picture has left many fans guessing whether this is their first look from the film as Alia can be seen wearing a denim jacket with an eagle in flight and a pair of leather pants. Varun is more casually dressed in a sleeveless T-shirt and grey jeans. However, he specifically wrote that these are not the clothes they wear in the film but it could be a clever decoy also. Whatever the case may be Varun has surely made our day with this picture.
