Is Rani of Jhansi my chachi? Kangana Ranaut vows to 'expose' Bollywood for not supporting Manikarnika

You can always count on Kangana Ranaut for calling spade a spade and not mincing her words ever. While her latest release Manikarnika: the Queen of Jhansi has managed to rake in good numbers at the box-office, it cannot be ignored that the film has been mired in controversies right from its inception. Add to this, the actress is leaving no stone unturned to claim at every instance that Bollywood has ganged up against her by not supporting the period drama.

Now once again, at a promotional event, Kangana vowed to expose the Bollywood gang for scheming against for calling them out on 'nepotism' and sexism' and 'pay parity.' "Is the Rani of Jhansi my 'chachi' (aunt)? She’s everyone’s queen, so why are these people afraid? Is it because I spoke up against them? Did they lose their senses when I spoke about nepotism? They’ve all ganged up against me."

She further added, "How will you feel if an entire classroom gets together and bullies one person? They have no shame... some of them are as old as my grandfather.... I use to call them out for minor things like sexism, nepotism, pay-parity earlier, but now I will not spare them and will expose each one of them."

Meanwhile, earlier this week, in an interview with an entertainment portal, Kangana revealed how Bollywood actors like Aamir Khan and Alia Bhatt reached out to her when their films released, but "she gets no response from anyone" about her projects.

Well, it seems Kangana is in no mood to let bygones be bygones.

Manikarnika: The Queen of Jhansi released on January 25 and also starred Ankita Lokhande, Jisshu Sengupta and others in pivotal roles.
