Salman Khan and Katrina Kaif will appear in a reworked version of the song O O Jaane Jaana from his 1998 film Pyaar Kiya Toh Darna Kya in Stanley D’costa’s Time to Dance, starring Isabelle Kaif and Sooraj Pancholi in the lead roles, a leading daily reports.

Time to Dance marks Katrina’s sister Isabelle’s debut in Bollywood. Two versions of O O Jaane Jaana will be used in the film as per the report – one of which will be used as a background score for Sooraj’s introduction.

The second version is a promotional track featuring Salman and Katrina and will be filmed at a studio in Mumbai in March. “It’s a modern day rendition of the original track, and will be shot on lavishly-mounted sets,” a source was quoted as saying by the daily. The report also states that the reprised version has been composed by Shivai Vyas while Kamaal Khan, who had provided vocals to the original song, will croon this one as well. Apart from Salman and Katrina, Isabelle and Sooraj will also feature in the new version of O O Jaane Jaana

“Salman and Katrina’s presence is restricted to the promotional song, the two will not be a part of the film,” the source added.

Set in London, Time To Dance, produced by Bhushan Kumar and Remo D’souza, casts Isabelle as a ballroom and Latin dancer while Sooraj plays a street dancer. It is expected to release in the second half of 2019, sources told the daily.
