Ranveer Singh’s and Alia Bhatt’s Gully Boy recorded fantastic collections on its opening day on February 14 but hours after its release, the Zoya Akhtar-directed film leaked on piracy website TamilRockers and is now available for download, a leading website reports. Despite being banned continuously, TamilRockers ends up operating through new domains while users often access it through proxy servers as well.

Much to the producers’ dismay, TamilRockers also upload HD versions of the films – another leading website reports. Films including Uri: The Surgical Strike, Viswasam, Petta, Manikarnika: The Queen of Jhansi and The Accidental Prime Minister, were also leaked on TamilRockers.
Not just Indian films but the website also reports that Hollywood movies such as Aquaman and Fantastic Beasts: The Crimes of Grindelwald, were also found on the website. In order to stop piracy, the Producers' Guild in South has also been fighting a battle against TamilRockers.
Meanwhile, Gully Boy has been faring exceptionally well at the box office. The film earned Rs 18.70 crore on the first day of its release.
