The wedding invite of the year is here. Yes, we are talking about the wedding invite of Mukesh Ambani’s and Nita Ambani’s eldest son Akash Ambani and his fiancée Shloka Mehta. The wedding card was first offered by the groom’s parents at Siddhivinayak Temple and now it has made its way to the internet and has the netizens in a state of disbelief. Like the wedding card of Mukesh’s and Nita’s daughter Isha Ambani, Akash’s card is also pristine, beautiful, and traditional and borrows from Hindu mythology.
The card looks like a giant box of sweets and is decked up in pink and orange hues. It has a portrait of Radha-Krishna sitting in a flower field with peacocks surrounding them. Another picture of the deities follows in a silver photo frame and then an image of Lord Ganesh pops up. The card, orange in colour opens up to a note which seeks blessings for the betrothed couple. It reads, “O Suryadeva (Sun God). You are the light in our Akash. You illuminate our every Shloka.”
