Zoya Akhtar's latest release Gully Boy which stars Ranveer and Alia Bhatt in lead roles is a story based on Indian rappers. Will Smith watched the film recently and posted a congratulatory message for Ranveer, appreciating his performance in Gully Boy. In his video shared on Instagram, the actor said, "Yo, Ranveer. Congrats man. Loving what you doing with Gully Boy." He also shared a snippet from Apna Time Aayega on his Instagram story and went on to say, "For me, old-school hip-hop is seeing hip-hop all over the world like that. I'm loving it, man. Congrats, go get'em."
