Our nation is currently in grief, anger and shock due to the Pulwama Terror Attack which took place in the Pulwama district of Jammu and Kashmir and claimed the lives of 40 jawans of the Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF). This incident filled Indians with a feeling of resentment and several Bollywood celebrities came out and showed their anger. Amongst them were Bollywood newbies, Janhvi Kapoor and Sara Ali Khan.

When asked about the incident, Sara said, “Honestly, as a human being, when I hear about any heinous act, I feel angry, I even feel scared, I feel hurt, so all these emotions run through me and I feel these emotions are felt by everyone, they are obvious as we all are human beings.”

Reporting the attack as 'a fight for freedom', a Pakistani newspaper hailed the suicide bomber as "valiant" which made Bollywood actor Janhvi Kapoor angry and she took to Instagram to strongly condemn the dastardly attack and slam the "propagandist article". "The reasons to be angered and hurt are plenty. The one that upsets me the most is that our men didn't even get the chance to fight for themselves," she wrote. Janhvi also denounced the article in The Nation for "celebrating this terrorist attack as a fight for freedom". "It's tragic and irresponsible that the truths of such a condemnable act are being distorted by the media to suit their political agendas. These men have been robbed of not just their lives but also the respect that they deserve as protectors of a nation. Let's pray for the souls of our brave men and for the strength of their families. #jaihind," she wrote.

Meanwhile, Prime Minister Narendra Modi warned the perpetrators of the attack that they will receive a befitting reply.
