After delivering the reworked version of Helen’s iconic number Mungda in Total Dhamaal, Sonakshi Sinha is looking forward to one of the biggest films of this year with Kalank which also stars Alia Bhatt, Varun Dhawan, Aditya Roy Kapur, Sanjay Dutt, Madhuri Dixit and Kunal Kemmu. Apart from this she also has a couple of other interesting films lined up for this year. However, apart from this, the latest buzz is that Sonakshi has roped in to star opposite Nawazuddin Siddiqui in Bole Chudiyan.
The film will see Nawazuddin in a romantic role and is directed by his brother Shamas Nawab Siddiqui who has a few ad films and a popular short film that has won awards at many festivals in his resume. Apparently, the buzz was that Shraddha Kapoor was being considered for the role but now Sonakshi’s name has started doing the rounds.

However, there has been no confirmation on the same but an entertainment portal quoted a source, “Shamas was looking for a leading lady and found it in Sonakshi Sinha. He thinks that Sona is quite apt for the role and she will be featuring alongside his brother Nawazuddin Siddiqui. The actress too has liked the script and has given a verbal nod for the film. The makers will be making an official announcement as soon as the final formalities are completed.”
The film is produced by Nawaz in collaboration with producers Rajesh Bhatia and Kiran Bhatia from Woodpecker Movies. They are also co-producing Motichoor Chaknachoor that stars Nawazuddin and Athiya Shetty in the lead.
