Sanjay and Maheep Kapoor’s daughter Shanaya Kapoor is all set to enter the film industry, not as an actor, but as an assistant director. Shanaya is in Lucknow at the moment as she is assisting the director of an upcoming film on the project. On Instagram, Sanjay and Maheep posted pictures with Shanaya and informed their fans and followers about their daughter’s new assignment.

Shanaya is Sanjay and Maheep Kapoor’s first child together. She also has a younger brother Jahaan. Sanjay Kapoor is the star of films Raja, Sirf Tum, Luck By Chance and Lust Stories.
Janhvi Kapoor, Arjun Kapoor and Sonam Kapoor are Shanaya’s cousins, and are established actors. Janhvi, daughter of Sridevi and Boney Kapoor, made her debut with Dhadak in 2018, and will appear next in Takht and the Gunjan Saxena biopic.
Arjun Kapoor is the star of films Ishaqzaade, Gunday, 2 States, Mubarakan, Half Girlfriend and Namaste England.
Sonam Kapoor has appeared in the films Aisha, Delhi-6, Raanjhanaa, Neerja and Veere Di Wedding.
