Sanjay Dutt, Kapil Sharma join Sri Sri Ravi Shankar in creating awareness against drug abuse in Chandigarh

In a move to eradicate drug abuse in India, more than one crore students will be taking a pledge on February 18 and 19 along with spiritual leader Sri Sri Ravi Shankar, actors Sanjay Dutt and Kapil Sharma, musicians Badshah and Gurdas Maan, and producer Mahaveer Jain, in Chandigarh via live webcast in approximately 12,000 colleges across the country.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi will join the movement through webcast on February 19 and address millions of students across the country, and urge them to refrain from taking drugs. Several colleges are introducing SWAT (Social Wellness and Awareness Training) clubs in their premises and planning activities spread throughout the year in their fight against drugs.

Actors including Aamir khan, Akshay Kumar, Varun Dhawan, Sonakshi Sinha, Parineeti Chopra, Katrina Kaif and filmmaker Karan Johar, will also join the movement.

Sri Sri Ravi Shankar, on March 10, has planned walkathons across the country, in hundreds of cities,  to create awareness against drugs.
