I felt like going: Katrina Kaif on attending Deepika Padukone's and Ranveer Singh's wedding reception

You must be living under a rock if you aren't aware that Katrina Kaif and Deepika Padukone shared cold vibes once upon a time. The two leading ladies were not just arch rivals professionally but they shared an ex too, namely Ranbir Kapoor. Be it any public outing or a red carpet event, Kat and DP ignored each other and how.

However, things turned for the better when Ranveer Singh and Deepika invited Katrina to be a part of their wedding reception in Mumbai and the Thugs of Hindostan actress obliged them by attending it. Post that, the Katrina and Deepika haven't only warmed up to each other, but are often seen commenting on each other's pictures on social media as well.

Now during a recent chat show, Katrina was asked what made her attend Ranveer's and Deepika's wedding reception, to which she replied, "It's as simple as this. I received the invite. I received message saying 'you have to come and be a part of this'. I found that very sweet. I paused for a moment and said I feel like going."

Furthermore, she admitted that she and Deepika have come a long way and only have respect for each other. "Even if in the past that relationship has been where you don't see eye to eye, it's still now a relationship. So in a strange way I kind of felt that I was involved in this celebration of their wedding. I wanted to go and wish them. This is somebody who has come into the industry, we both came in our teens and now we are not in our teens. There is a sense of mutual respect and acknowledgement of the other person. It's nice that we have a sense of friendship between us," Katrina added.

Well, it is certainly endearing to see the two let bygones be bygones.
