Pulwama Terror Attack: Salman Khan and producers of Notebook to contribute 22 lakh to the martyrs family

As the nation stands united today in condemnation of the dastardly terrorist attack on a CRPF convoy on February 14, Salman Khan Films and Cine1 Studios, producers of the film Notebook, have decided to contribute a sum of Rs 22 lakh to the families of the victims.

The film was shot entirely in Kashmir in the months of October-November last year. The entire crew shot safely in the Valley primarily due to the efforts of the Indian Army, the CRPF and also the people of Kashmir, who constantly ensured that law and order prevail in the region even under the most extreme circumstances.

"We offer our prayers for the victims and extend our heartfelt condolences to their families," the team of the film said.

Notebook marks the acting debut of Zaheer Iqbal and Pranutan Bahl. Helmed by Nitin Kakkar, produced by Salma Khan, Murad Khetani and Ashwin Varde, and is all set to release on March 29.

The trailer of Notebook will unveil on February 22.
