After delivering three superhit films simultaneously – Padmaavat, Simmba and Gully Boy, Ranveer Singh is most likely to get a share from the profits of his projects henceforth, a leading daily reports. It would be safe to assert that Ranveer, within a career spanning nine years, has managed to elevate himself to the status of superstars such as the Khan trifecta of Bollywood, Ranbir Kapoor and Akshay Kumar.
Trade sources are of the opinion that producers, apart from offering appropriate fees to Ranveer for his films, are willing to share profits with the actor, whose films are generating unimaginable revenue for filmmakers. This system is practiced by Aamir Khan, Salman Khan, Shah Rukh Khan as well as other A-list actors.

“Besides offering him a handsome remuneration, producers are agreeable to giving the young Turk a share in the profits as well. This is a common practice with all mega-stars — be it the Khans (Aamir, Salman, Shah Rukh), Akshay Kumar, Ajay Devgn or Ranbir Kapoor. Today, Ranveer is in their league and quite naturally, he is being offered a similar arrangement,” sources told the daily.
Considering the fact that Ranveer’s films are faring exceptionally well at the box office, producers, as per sources, are “sweetening the deal for him by offering him a big margin in the profits”. Also, if reports are anything to go by, Ranveer will share profits from his upcoming films Kabir Khan’s ’83 and Karan Johar’s Takht.

“Ranveer’s price is bound to soar. It’s a normal career and price trajectory for any superstar. However, most big stars are not keen to over-burden the film with their price and so is Ranveer. He is a conscious artiste who doesn’t believe in front-loading a film. He is confident of what he brings to the table as an actor and a star. He is a collaborative person and it’s good that he wants the movie to do well first and then have a share of profits. It only shows that he stands by his decision to do a film. For the producers, too, it’s a huge win-win because they have an invested actor who is committed to deliver the best for a film first and not just think about his price,” the source added.
Ranveer Singh’s Gully Boy has already earned Rs 89.15 crore within six days of its release. His last films Padmaavat and Simmba had earned Rs 282.28 crore and Rs 240.10 crore respectively.
