Tanushree Dutta shared details of her new short film Inspiration that is based on the stories of sexual harassment in Bollywood, and informed that it will release online on March 8 to commemorate International Women's Day, a leading daily reports. "It deals with the issue of willful exploitation of young newcomers in showbiz or any other field where they don't have mentors or guidance," Tanushree told the daily.
Asked whether the film is based on a true incident, Tanushree refused to divulge details as she said, "It is a new format where reality meets fiction.” Tanushree has been labeled as the torchbearer of the MeToo movement in India as numerous other women numerous narrated their stories of harassment after the actress, in October 2018, recounted an old accusation she made against Nana Patekar for alleged sexual harassment on the sets of their 2008 film Horn OK Pleasssss.

Tanushree shot for Inspiration during her stay in Mumbai in 2018 and while speaking of her character in the film, she said that she plays a “guardian angel who inspires the girls to make the right decision”.
"I wrote the dialogues, inspired by my own insight and understanding on the matter. I was excited to face the camera after nine years because this time, I was not only entertaining but also imparting wisdom to the misled and unfortunate," Tanushree added.

After sparking the revolutionary movement in India, Tanushree Dutta returned to the US earlier in 2019 and has resumed life as it was before the MeToo movement saw her in the midst of media attention.
