The tension between India and Pakistan are reaching a breaking point. On Tuesday, India conducted air strikes in Pakistan's Balakot as a response to the Pulwama terror attack on February 14. The next day, the Indian government confirmed that an Indian Air Force MiG-21 was shot down by Pakistan, and the pilot, Wing Commander Abhinandan Varthaman, is currently in Pakistan custody. Videos of the officer have been doing the rounds on social media and people from all over are tweeting about the same.
One of them was Pakistani actress Veena Malik posted an extremely insensitive tweet. She wrote, sharing a picture of the officer, "Abhi Abhi Tu Ayo Ho...Achi Mehmaan Nawazi Ho GI Aap Ki."

An angry Swara Bhasker slammed her for her tweet and wrote, "Veena ji.. Shame on you & ur sick mindset. Your glee is just gross! Our officer is a hero- brave, gracious & dignified in the face of capture. At least some decency from that major in you army who was questioning #WingCommanderAbhinandan or the many Pakistanis suing 4 peace #sick."

TV actress Saumya Tandon too condemned the repulsive treat and said it was really sad that somebody like her could tweet this. "Can’t imagine someone like him tweeting like this. Sad really sad," wrote Saumya referring to Veena's disgusting tweet.

For the unversed, Veena was a participant in the fourth season of Salman Khan’s controversial reality show Bigg Boss.
