After a long time, the producers and filmmakers have an array of choice for their main leads thanks to the several promising debutants who have burst on the big screen last year. Now, the filmmakers are not shying away from experimenting with quirky stories and content-driven cinema and that has resulted in fresh new pairings in films. Now, the latest names to be included in this unusual pairings list are those of Rajkummar Rao and Janhvi Kapoor.

Rajkummar is on cloud nine after the phenomenal success of Stree last year and has emerged as the favourite of Dinesh Vijan’s production house Maddock Films. The actor has two more films from the same banner, Made In China and Rooh-Afza. Now, according to a trade portal he has been roped in to star in another film with Janhvi.

The film’s details are being kept tightly under wraps and no official announcement has been made yet about any details related to the film. However, knowing Dinesh’s forte we are sure the film will have some quirk attached to it and hopefully, this novel combination will be successful in delighting the audience.

Previously, in an interview Janhvi had revealed that she loves Rajkummar, Nawazuddin Siddiqui and Dhanush as their performance in films are pure gold. She had even confessed that she was so enamored by Rajkummar’s performance in Bareilly Ki Barfi that she liked his every photo on social media hoping that he would notice her. Well, looks like Janhvi’s wish has been granted and now she will get to share screen space with Rajkummar.
