John Abraham censured a reporter at the trailer launch event of Romeo Akbar Walter as he was asked to respond to a question in connection with the Pulwama attack and his upcoming film, a news agency reports. The trailer of Romeo Akbar Walter (RAW) released online on March 5 as John and the makers launched it an event in Mumbai.
At the event, John was asked whether he would "tempt" people through RAW to take action after the Pulwama attack. The question, however, irked John as he shut down the reporter, saying, "You have to be very careful with the way you ask questions, you have a responsibility. Please apologise to everyone."

As many as 49 CRPF troopers lost their lives in the Pulwama terror attack in Jammu and Kashmir on February 14 in which their convoy was attacked. Pakistan-based Jaish-e-Mohammed claimed responsibility for it.
However, John did provide his opinion on the escalating tension between India and Pakistan after the Pulwama attack. "There has to be a war against terror (ism) and not against a country or any religion. I am very clear with my outlook on that. I am not one of those actors who will say that ‘People will like this, so let's do it'. I say things as it is. These days, polarization is happening and that is dangerous,” John said at the event.
