Bollywood actress Sonali Bendre is a true fighter and has inspired many after she was diagnosed with high-grade cancer that had metastised. During her treatment in New York, she kept sharing her dilemmas and doubts regarding the disease on social media and persuaded everyone to #SwitchOnTheSunshine.

Now after going severe chemotherapy, the actress recently got back to the bay and has left everyone surprised by flaunting her 20-inch cancer surgery scar in a latest photo shoot. In the pictures, Sonali can be seen posing in her short hair, looking oh-so-gorgeous. See for yourself:

Meanwhile, during an interaction with the magazine, Sonali further opened up about her hair and shaving them. "I’m okay with it now... I don’t even miss it. Yet it (my hair) was the be-all, end-all of my life. It was this stupid thing that I was hanging on to. My instinct was to wear a cap, a scarf or a wig-but these things are so ugly. I knew that if I had to accept it (going bald), I had to put a picture out there. Because once you share it on social media, you can feel the release," she said.

When prodded if she feels a connect while looking at the mirror, Sonali admitted that she always looking glamorous but now she doesn't feel ugly anymore.
