It would not be wrong to say that Ayan Mukerji's upcoming sci-fi film Brahmastra, starring Ranbir Kapoor, Alia Bhatt, Amitabh Bachchan, Nagarjuna and Mouni Roy, is one of the highly-anticipated films this year. Interestingly, the makers created a huge buzz around it by using around 150 drones to light up the night sky of Prayagraj on the occasion of Mahashivratri. What's more? Ayan also revealed the name of Alia’s and Ranbir’s characters from the film, that are Isha and Shiva respectively.
Now as the team of Brahmastra is all set to release the official logo today, director Ayan Mukerji recently opened up on how his journey began and went on to share the original name of the film that had a major Game Of Thrones connection.
Sharing a glimpse from the film, which seemed like visual effects of fire, Ayan mentioned on Instagram, "It’s been a long long time since the Brahmāstra journey began... The movie was called Dragon in those days... Here is the first really simple concept art we made for the movie... but about something that is at the very heart of it... Fire."

Talking about his ambitious project, Ayan had earlier explained that Brahmastra is a contemporary film and its title "resonates with ancient wisdom, energies and power." Well, we cannot wait to see Alia and Ranbir set fire to the silver screen with this cinematic outing.
