The first trailer of Chuck Russell’s new film Junglee starring Vidyut Jammwal, Pooja Sawant and Asha Bhat in the lead has been released. Vidyut is seen fighting the poachers and protecting the animals in true Bollywood style. The film is a family-adventure that revolves around a vet who on his homecoming to his father’s elephant reserve gets reunited with his childhood friend-Bhola, the elephant. He ultimately fights an international poacher’s racket.
The trailer is full of thrilling combat action in the trademark style of Vidyut, humour and even a romantic subplot. The action is what is eye-catching as Vidyut is in his element in close-quarters combat. However, after watching the trailer you might be reminded of Tarzan and Haathi Mere Saathi. The landscapes are picturesque and breathtaking and the trailer is more about Vidyut’s combat skills than about animals in the reserve. Vidyut is a treat to watch especially in the fight sequences, although the acting department is a bit questionable.
