The teaser for one of the year’s most-awaited films Kalank will release in a just a few hours more, i.e tomorrow. The period drama set in the 1940s has already got everyone on social media hooked with its motion posters and awesome-looking first look posters of its six main characters. The film has a stellar ensemble star cast of Sanjay Dutt, Madhuri Dixit, Alia Bhatt, Varun Dhawan, Sonakshi Sinha, Aditya Roy Kapur and Kunal Kemmu. The film is directed by Abhishek Varman and is produced by Karan Johar under his banner Dharma Productions.
Before the teaser release of the film tomorrow, Varun who was busy shooting for his upcoming dance film Street Dancer opposite Shraddha Kapoor in London took time out to fly down to Mumbai so that he can be there with the cast to unveil the film’s teaser. He will be in India for only 24 hours and will soon catch a plane back to London to continue the shoot of his film after the teaser launch. Varun plays the role of Zafar and his first look poster defined him as someone who flirts with life and danger. Varun also shared a shirtless backshot of his look as Zafar as well as a motion poster and piqued audience’s interest with the words, “Jaaniye Zafar ki dastaan, #Kalank teaser ke saath. Out on Tuesday 12th March 2019!” Kalank is scheduled to release on April 17.
