Ayan Mukerji is leaving no stone unturned for promoting his upcoming dream project Brahmastra that stars Ranbir Kapoor, Alia Bhatt and Amitabh Bachchan in the lead. After years of saying no to social media, he finally joined Instagram and since then has been sharing glimpses from the film. After launching the logo and name of Brahmastra on Mahashivratri at Kumbh Mela, he went on to share a look test and the initial name of Ranbir’s character from the film which was Rumi.
Today, Ayan shared another picture of Ranbir with short hair in his character of Shiva playing with what seems to be a ball of fire. Ranbir is seen looking at the ball in awe. A second picture shows a drawing of presumably Shiva aka Ranbir controlling the ball of fire. Ayan captioned the image as, “magic. #brahmastra #agni #shivadiaries.”

Brahmastra also stars Mouni Roy, Akkineni Nagarjuna, Dimple Kapadia and Divyendu Sharma. Brahmastra is a sci-fi film and is one of the most awaited films of the year. During the logo launch of the film, 150 drones were used to light up the night sky at Kumbh Mela. Ayan had previously revealed that Alia’s character in the film is named Isha. Brahmastra is scheduled to be released on December 20, 2019.
