Did you know Kalank is Karan Johar’s Dharma Productions’ ‘most expensive film’ till date?

The teaser of Karan Johar’s ambitious drama Kalank has been released and at the launch event in Mumbai on Tuesday, Apoorva Mehta of Dharma Productions revealed that the film is the most expensive production under their banner. Directed by Abhishek Varman, Kalank stars Alia Bhatt, Varun Dhawan, Sonakshi Sinha, Aditya Roy Kapur, Madhuri Dixit and Sanjay Dutt in the principle roles.

At the event, Apoorva said that Kalank is not only a magnificent film in terms of production but is ethereal in its intent and emotion.

“Kalank is Dharma’s first historical film and it is our most expensive film till date. This film is really special. It is large, not only in its scale and production but also, in its intent and emotion. It has a stellar cast and I really hope all of you enjoy it,” Apoorva said at the event.
