Varun Dhawan made a classic revelation during the teaser launch of his upcoming film Kalank in Mumbai on March 12 as he said that Sanjay Dutt, while filming, addressed Madhuri Dixit as ‘Ma’am’. Yes, for sure, we watched Dutt referring to Madhuri as ‘Ma’am’ during the event as well but certainly didn’t know that the senior actor did the same on sets too. But that’s not the point, because while Varun was speaking about it, Alia interrupted him with a classic comeback.
“I have a question. I refer to Madhuri Dixit as ‘Ma’am,’ obviously I’ll do so but Sanjay Sir also used to address her as ‘Ma’am,’” Varun said as Alia interrupted him, saying, “You should also learn and call me Ma’am.” Soon after Alia’s response, the crowd burst into a loud cheer.

Dutt and Madhuri have worked together in several films including Saajan, Khalnayak, Thanedaar and Saahibaan while Kalank reunites them onscreen after 25 years.
At the event, Dutt spoke about working with Madhuri as he said, “It’s always a pleasure working with Dharma. I am so proud of you, Karan. And to work with Varun, Sonakshi, Aditya and Alia, and most of all, Ma’am, after so many years.”
