Abhishek Varman's upcoming film Kalank is all set for its grand release on April 17. After launching the teaser on March 12, now the makers have shared a new still from the film featuring Varun Dhawan as Zafar.
Alia Bhatt and Karan Johar posted a new still of Varun on their Instagram account where he can be seen fighting with a bull. Alia captioned it as, "Fearless and unapologetic.
#Kalank releases 17th April 2019." Karan, on the other hand, wrote, "The one who takes challenges head-on! #Zafar's story will come to life on 17th April."

Kalank is rumoured to be a love story, conceptualized in the backdrop of the partition, and began filming in May 2018. As per the report, Kalank has been shot over a period of 100 days in Hyderabad, Chanderi, Madhya Pradesh, Kargil and Indore apart from Mumbai. The film has an ensemble star cast of Alia Bhatt, Varun Dhawan, Aditya Roy Kapur, Sonakshi Sinha, Sanjay Dutt and Madhuri Dixit.
Produced by Karan Johar's Dharma Productions, Sajid Nadiadwala's NGEM and Fox Star Hindi, the film will hit the silver screen on April 17, 2019.
