Deepika Padukone is one of Bollywood’s most beautiful actresses and a powerhouse of talent. Apart from receiving numerous awards for her outstanding performances, she is a global superstar as well as having starred in a Hollywood film and having walked the red carpet at Cannes and Met Gala. Now, she has finally got her wax statue unveiled at Madame Tussauds in London. She flew to London recently to unveil her statue today and went live on social media to give a closer look into the event.
She was accompanied by her actor husband Ranveer Singh, parents Prakash Padukone and Ujjala Padukone and parents-in-law. Deepika’s wax statue is completely life-like and has a great resemblance to her. The statue donned the cape-lehenga that Deepika wore for IIFA Awards in 2016. The ensemble was created by fashion designer Sabyasachi Mukherjee and was accessorized with a thin diamond and emerald necklace. Deepika’s wax statue is just as stunning as her and bears its pearly whites in her trademark million dollar smile.

During the live session on Facebook, Deepika spoke about her wax statue at Madame Tussauds and said, “It's an amazing feeling, to be honest. It's fun and exciting. And in a way, I think I feel a lot of gratitude as well when you give back to your fans..." Her doting husband Ranveer stood close to the statue and said, “Can I take her home?" To this Deepika was quick to respond with, “Whenever you're here, shooting for 83 and you miss me too much, you can come here." Aren’t these two just too adorable?
