Deepika Padukone unveiled her wax statue today at Madame Tussauds London. Her lifelike statue is truly remarkable and looks just like her. In fact, it wouldn’t be wrong to say that it is probably one of the best wax statues unveiled recently. The statue has donned Deepika’s IIFA 2016 look complete with diamond and emerald necklace and a Sabyasachi cape-lehenga ensemble. Deepika went live on social media to give a closer look to her fans about the event. At the unveiling, she was accompanied by her hubby actor Ranveer Singh and proud parents Ujjala Padukone and Prakash Padukone and equally elated parents-in-law Jagjit Singh Bhavnani and Anju Bhavnani.
The unveiling of Deepika’s statue was streamed live on Instagram and the video shows DP, Ranveer and their parents posing next to the wax statue. Ranveer was smitten when he first saw the statue and his first reaction was, “Gorgeous”. He asked DP, “Can I take her home?” to which she slyly replied, “Whenever you’re here, shooting for 83 and you miss me too much, you can come here.” Ranveer even tried to pose like the statue to the amused laughter from their fans. While looking at her statue, Deepika told her mom Ujjala, “Ma now when you miss me you know where to come.” To this, her mother replied, “Now I know what would happen if I have twins.”
