Kalank Song Ghar More Pardesiya: Alia Bhatt, Varun Dhawan, Madhuri Dixit rejoice in their world of colour, love and grandeur

The first song from Karan Johar’s ambitious drama Kalank, titled Ghar More Pardesiya, has dropped online and it’s magnificent. Ghar More Pardesiya presents a mesmerizing jugalbandi between Madhuri Dixit and Alia Bhatt as the song has a melodious tune. It begins with Madhuri Dixit’s Baahar Begum singing Ghar More Pardesiya in a palatial set as she appears to be a Kathak teacher and narrates a folktale through the song to her students.

In the meantime, Alia’s Roop enters the darbaar and sings Ghar More Pardesiya with Baahar Begum and soon after performs delightful Kathak steps with the other dancers. It is so beautiful that Baahar Begum is left speechless and so are we. Zafar is seen around the darbaar but somehow doesn’t end up meeting Roop.

Ghar More Pardesiya has vocals by Shreya Ghoshal with Vaishali Mhade while Pritam has composed it. Lyrics are by Amitabh Bhattacharya while Remo D'souza has choreographed it. Directed by Abhishek Varman, Kalank co-stars Sonakshi Sinha, Madhuri Dixit, Sanjay Dutt and Aditya Roy Kapur. The teaser of the film was launched last week and has garnered severe acclaim online while posters of the characters are delightful as well.
