The moment is finally here when we get to know who won the best debut male and female award at the Filmfare Awards 2019. Yes, it is none other than Ishaan Khatter and Sara Ali Khan who made a smashing debut in the year 2018 and impressed the audience with not one but two films.

Ishaan won the Best Debut Actor (Male) for his film Beyond the Clouds which released in June 2018. The actor was then seen in Dhadak alongside debutante Janhvi Kapoor. Both of his films were critically acclaimed but Beyond the Clouds, surprisingly, didn't work well at the box office. But all is well that ends well.

On the other hand, Sara who entered Bollywood in December with Abhishek Kapoor's Kedarnath won the Best Debut Actor (Female) at the Filmfare Awards 2019. The actress was then seen in Rohit Shetty's Simmba alongside Ranveer Singh. Both her films were loved and appreciated.
