Ranveer dedicates his Filmfare Best Actor (Critic) award to his late grandmother; wife Deepika hands the trophy with a kiss

Ranveer Singh must be on cloud 9 and he should be. The actor who gave one after the other superhit films in 2018 was awarded the Best Actor (Critic) for his 2018 film Padmaavat. The actor played the much-appreciated role of Khilji in the film and left the audience and critics impressed back in January, last year.

In his acceptance speech, the actor gave full credit to his grandmother. While thanking her, Ranveer said, "I dedicate this award to my nani as it was my nani's favourite character. One day I called my sister and asked what nani is doing, she said that nani is on terrace doing her favourite thing that is watching Padmaavat". Now isn't that so adorable on his part?

Not only this, the actor even went down on his knees to propose to his real life Rani, his wife, Deepika Padukone with a flower in his hand in an unseen video from the award night. DP handed over the trophy to Ranveer with a kiss. Ranveer has always made sure to express his love to the love of his life, Deepika and the actor was seen doing the same at the award show as well.
