Sorry to have let you down; promise to work harder: Deepika Padukone writes to her fans after losing Filmfare Best Actress Award

Deepika Padukone’s fans were majorly upset after she lost out on the Best Actress trophy at the Filmfare Awards in Mumbai over the weekend and soon after, she wrote a note and apologised to her ardent admirers. While Deepika was nominated in the Best Actress category for her role in Padmaavat, Alia Bhatt won the award for Raazi.

After the winner was announced, Deepika’s fans were angry while a particular fan club also called out the organizers and criticized the decision. Deepika, though, took note of her fans’ displeasure and promised to “work harder than ever before” as she wrote in a message on the comments section on Instagram.
