Watch: Lilly Singh revamps Bollywood hits into rap songs in new video to discuss body shaming and bisexuality

YouTube star Lilly Singh has launched a new video, titled If Bollywood Songs Were Rap, and in it, she has reworked three Hindi film songs with quirky lyrics to explain several topics such as body shaming, societal pressure on youth, awareness on mental health and bisexuality.

The first song is a revamped version of the 1993 Khalnayak track Choli Ke Peeche Kya Hai and features Lilly in a gaudy lehenga choli while she has modified the lyrics so as to provide her take on body shaming.

Lilly revamped the hit track All Is Well from 3 Idiots as she discussed pressure inflicted on Gen-X by the society in her interpretation through the lyrics in the second part of the song. The reworked version of Aankh Marey features in the third part of the video - shot in a basketball court, Lilly elaborates on bisexuality through the lyrics. Singer Neha Kakkar also makes an appearance in the video.
