Dharma Productions' next titled Good News starring Akshay Kumar, Kareena Kapoor Khan, Kiara Advani and Diljit Dosanjh is currently being shot in Mumbai. Now, a leading daily reports that Akshay and Kareena, along with co-stars Diljit and Kiara, recently shot for a fun dance number at a city studio.
“It is a recreation of the 1999 pop hit, Sauda Khara Khara which was sung by Sukhbir and the video had featured Bipasha Basu and Dino Morea. While the original was set around a wedding, the new one unfolds in a Delhi club,” said a source close to the development.
The song will be a part of the story and marks a celebration in the life of the leads, both of whom sport glamorous avatars in the video. DJ Chetas, who has composed the new version, said, “It was a dream come true to work with Akshay sir, Karan (Johar, producer) sir and Kareena ma’am on a film.
I am can’t get into the details of the track, but I can promise that it will be one of the biggest hits of the year.” Directed by Raj Mehta, Good News is co-produced by Karan Johar’s Dharma Productions and Cape of Good Films. It will release on September 6, 2019, and follows the storyline of two married couples.
