Salman Khan began filming Dabangg 3 in Madhya Pradesh’s Maheshwar on April 1 and is currently shooting for the title song of the film at Ahilya Fort, a leading daily reports. The track will be filmed throughout the upcoming 13 days and features Salman in his classic Dabangg mode with 500 background dancers.
“This will be followed by an action sequence on bikes involving Chulbul and his brother, Makkhi (Arbaaz Khan). It will end with a week-long shoot in Mandeshwar,” a source told the daily. The report also states that Dabangg 3 is set in two different eras and will accordingly feature Salman in “two different looks shuttling between the past and the present”.
“In his back story, which is a kind of prequel, Chulbul will be shown as a local goon with a heart of gold and a lengthy flashback will cover his metamorphosis into a Robin Hood cop. The conflict in the present with Sudeep is connected to his past before Chulbul got into uniform,” the source added.
For Dabangg 3, Salman arrived in Indore over the weekend with Arbaaz and informed his fans and followers about the film through a video message.
Dabangg casts Salman Khan as Chulbul Pandey, a police officer who has his own way of dealing with corruption.
To be directed by Prabhudheva, Dabangg 3 is expected to release in December.
